Wow-what an amazing city! Hannah starts her day by exploding out converter trying to straighten her hair. After breakfast, we head to the Dubai mall, a gorgeous mall boasting a waterfall, an aquarium and an ice skating arena. Right outside the mall, standing 2717 feet tall, is the Burj Dubai. Tickets to go up are sold out for the day, so we just take pictures from below. Then we make our way to the beach to enjoy the beautiful 77 degree day. Later we experience the sounds and smells of Dubai at an enormous outdoor market and the sights of Dubai during an evening boatride on "the creek" (river.) We conclude our fun day with a buffet dinner in our hotel's revolving restaurant. (Note to self: when in Dubai, ask the price of the buffet BEFORE eating dinner!!)
Sounds like a very fun place to visit. I'm guessing even dinner was worth it (once you recovered from the 'sticker shock')!
