Pish!!

About a month ago, Hannah bought some cute little fish and set them up in her room. Well, then of course everyone else wanted fish. Evan and Emma kind of forgot about it, but not AJ. He wanted pish! (..he mixes up his "f"s and "p"s.)

AJ has been sleeping on our floor ever since Emma went back to her room. So I threw out this carrot, "If you'll sleep in your own bed for a month, I'll buy you some fish." He agreed and we drew a chart on his chalkboard so he could count down 30 days.

















Today is fish day! He made it through 30 nights no problem, and was even reluctant to give up his bed when we had guests stay with us for a couple nights.

He no longer says "pish", and as a matter of fact, the rest of his English is coming along at an astonishing rate. We are pretty much now just fine tuning. For example: not "where going Emma?" but "where is Emma?" (We hear this one a lot!)

Now if we can just keep these fish alive....
